Obituary of Brian Wayne King
It is with deep sadness that the family of Brian Wayne King, announces his unexpected passing on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Brian passed away at the age of 69 following a brief illness.
Born in Sackville, NB on February 1, 1955, he was the son of the late A. Adrian King and Norma (Read) King.
Brian was employed with the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure for forty-five years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends and spending time at the camp with his family. Brian had a special place in his heart for his great-nieces and nephew and their parents, Kirk and Melanie were the children he never had. He loved spending time with his family.
Brian will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Marlene (Wilbur) Read; his nieces and nephews, Melanie Read (Devon), Kirk (Sam) Read, Michael Rhodes (Janice) and Arienne King; his great-nieces and nephews, Adrianna Partridge, MacKenzie Read, Brody Read, Tessa Partridge, Bradley Thember and Adrian Thember; his sister-in-law, Mary (Carter) King, as well as by extended family and friends.
Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by his brother, A. Austin King; his sister, Linda (Rhodes-King) Wheaton; his brothers-in-law, Charles Rhodes and Wayne Wheaton, as well as by his aunts and uncles.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Brian’s wishes, a private graveside service will take place in the Sackville Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Wood Point Baptist Church or the charity of one’s choice.
