Oh, Lizzi, you would be the first one to tell me it's pointless to ask 'why'. From now on, whenever we, your friends in nanaimo, think back to old friends in Sackville-Dorchester, we will be painfully struck by the empty space among them, where you used to be -- your perky face, determined voice and gestures, no more. What am I saying? Of course you are still there, present in the happy and vivid memories you planted in our hearts and minds. Thank you for the years of friendship we were fortunate to enjoy, and may you be re-united with your lost loved ones, dear friend.
