Moncton, N.B.- It is with great sadness that the family of Marjorie Ellen Beal announce her passing, on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Marjorie was 85 years of age. Born on April 9, 1926 in Woodstock Parish, Carleton County, N.B., she was the daughter of the late George and Doris (Eade) Scott. She was raised on the family farm in Woodstock. Marjorie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a licensed practical nurse at Sackville Hospital where she met Vernon and they married in 1950. She was a true animal lover and there were always animals in the house when we grew up; dogs, cats, birds, hamsters and even a white rat. Marjorie loved to bake and always had cookies or cake in the house for the children after school including all the neighborhood children that she baby-sat throughout the years. Marjorie is the last surviving member of her family and is survived by her children, Pat (Arnie) of Victoria, BC, George (Juanita) of Aurora, Ontario, Betty Lou (Dave) of Calgary, AB and Charlie (Sally) of Moncton, N.B.; grandchildren, Tanya (Joe), Tara (Tom) and Arnie Jr. (Felicia); great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Kelsen, Meagan, Lauren, Isai and Joshua, all of Victoria, BC; sister-in-law Mary Scott of Woodstock, N.B. and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband Vernon; daughter Charlotte; infant son; sister Hilda and by her four brothers, Gerald, Dennis, Bill and Charles. Take care mum.
