Obituary of Brian Philip Joseph LeBlanc

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Brian’s passing on October 7, 2025 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital following a short battle with lung cancer.

Born in Moncton, NB on October 30, 1953, he was the son of the late Arsene and Joan (Hawton) LeBlanc.

Brian was a truck driver for many years, driving for Big Wheels, Armour and United Van Lines. He was also employed in the warehouse for City Cross Dock and retired in 2023 from Auto Cold as a Forklift Operator.

Brian will be lovingly remembered by his common-law partner of thirty years, Karen Goodwin; his three daughters, Shila Green, Jennifer (Frank) LeBlanc and Sarah (Andrew) Trites; by Karen’s children, Derek (Tasha) Goodwin, Bruce Lerette and Kristina Lerette; his grandsons, Cole, Shamus, Felix and Dallas; his step-grandchildren, Kyle, Logan, Connor, Marissa, Kenadi, Kaleb, and Garrison; his sisters, Margaret MacDonald and Terri (Con) Simon; his brother, David LeBlanc; his three sisters-in-law, Vara Driscoll, Darlene (Jeff) Dixon and Ila Goodwin; his two brothers-in-law, Arthur (Diane) Goodwin, Walter (Denine) Goodwin and Dan Winton, as well as by several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Glen and Linda Kay.

Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by two brothers in infancy; his in-laws, Eldon and Pearl Goodwin; his brother-in-law, Wayne Goodwin, as well as by his sister-in-law, Eileen Winton.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 11 am, with a reception to follow. The burial will take place in the Sackville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or Foundation, New Brunswick Breast and Women's Cancer Partnership Inc.or to the charity of one’s choice.
